It was a great race for many reasons. First, it was a charity event. Running for charity is always fulfilling. Second, it was the first race that all of my Team Shinrai teammates were present! We were complete. And finally, we all ran strong and for the bonus - our teammate Haidee landed in the podium with a 3rd place finish in her category!
And I was able to achieve my 10K PR in 52mins 53 secs for 10th place overall.
Thank you to all the organizers, sponsors and volunteers. Congratulations to all the winners and finishers. We are all winners!
